Kirov residents are being deceived by scammers posing as employees of the Social Fund.

"In Kirov Oblast, fraudsters have become active, calling citizens and presenting themselves as employees of the SFR Office. The SFR Office for Kirov Oblast strongly recommends remaining calm and not allowing yourself to be deceived," the Social Fund said.

The agency emphasized that real Social Fund employees never call citizens or contact them via messaging apps. "Fund specialists do not request confidential information by phone — passport details, bank card numbers, PIN codes, SMS codes, account details — and do not conduct checks or surveys at home. All necessary information for calculating pensions and benefits is already held by the SFR or is received through secure channels. All government services for applying for and recalculating pension payments are provided free of charge at SFR client service centers," the agency stressed.

The regional office of the Social Fund noted that if you receive a call from someone claiming to be a Social Fund employee who tries to obtain your bank card details, your Gosuslugi password, or other personal information, you should immediately end the conversation, as they are scammers.
