Preliminary dates for the 2026 Unified State Exam (EGE) and Basic State Exam (OGE) have been announced.
EGE-2026 Schedule
Exams for 11th-grade students, as before, will take place in three periods:
Early period: 20 March – 20 April
Main period: 1 June – 9 July
Additional period: 4 – 25 September
Preliminary exam dates for the main period:
1 June — history, literature, chemistry
4 June — Russian language
8 June — mathematics
11 June — social studies, physics
15 June — biology, geography, foreign languages (written part)
18–19 June — computer science, foreign languages (oral part)
22–25 June — reserve days for taking all subjects
Retakes for one subject to improve results are scheduled for 8 and 9 July, reports Kurs Dela.
OGE-2026 Schedule
Exams for 9th-grade students are also divided into three waves:
Early period: 21 April – 20 May
Main period: 2 June – 6 July
Additional period: 3 – 25 September
Key dates of the main period:
2 June — mathematics
9 June — Russian language
5, 16, 19 June — elective subjects
Retakes (up to two subjects may be retaken):
29 June — mathematics
2 July — Russian language
3, 6 July — elective subjects
Special provisions for certain categories of students
For graduates with disabilities and other categories of students who do not take the EGE and OGE in the standard form, State Graduation Examinations (GVE) are provided. They will take place in the same periods as the main exams.
Important: The published schedule is a draft and may be adjusted following public discussion, which will continue until the end of October.
