In Bydanovo, the prosecutor's office forced officials to fence off the abandoned boarding school.
The Belokholunitsky District prosecutor's office inspected how the authorities ensure the safety of citizens near abandoned and hazardous sites. The inspection was prompted by a complaint from residents of the village of Bydanovo: according to them, anyone could enter the building of the former boarding school on Truda Street — the doors and windows were not closed. The inspection confirmed that the municipality had for a long time taken no measures to fence off the hazardous site or to demolish it. Meanwhile, minors could have been inside the building, and it posed a threat to life and health. After the prosecutor's submission, the administration arranged for the boarding school to be secured and access to it restricted.
