In St. Petersburg, a train-surfer from Kirov was caught on the roof of the Saint Petersburg–Moscow train.
At St. Petersburg’s Moskovsky railway station, transport police officers noticed a man on the roof of a carriage just before the departure of the high‑speed train “St. Petersburg—Moscow.” A 26‑year‑old resident of Kirov Oblast had planned to engage in zaцепинг (train surfing) — an extreme way of traveling on a train’s roof. Transport security officers removed him from the carriage and handed him over to the police. He was given a preventive talk, being reminded of the serious danger such actions pose to life and health. Two administrative protocols were drawn up against the man: under Part 1 of Article 11.17 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (“Violation of the rules of conduct of citizens on railway transport”) and Article 11.15.1 of the Code (“Violations in the field of transport security”).
