Experts studied the dynamics of seasonal goods sales, average checks and the list of seasonal services and found that the seasonal rush at auto service centers began as early as October, and spending on cars rose by 11-19% across various expense items, reports Rossiyskaya Gazeta
Ahead of the winter season — from August 15 to September 15 — car owners spent more than 25.4 billion rubles on goods for servicing their personal vehicles: 11% more than spending in the summer months.
The largest increase in marketplace sales fell on auto parts (demand for them nearly doubles before winter), tires and rims (growth of 68.56%), and tools and equipment (growth of 62.72%).
Car owners also snapped up automotive electronics components, car accessories, interior mats, oils and fluids.
