According to the project manager of Avtoban, Rushan Latypov, work is currently underway at the site to construct the launching and receiving excavations, as well as to lay pipe-protective screens under the railway. "To date about 70% of the sheet piling has been driven, roughly 30% of the preparatory work for tunneling and 50–60% for the relocation of utility networks have been completed," he said.

By the end of the year it is planned to complete the installation of networks on the south side, and next year on the north. After that the road sections will be reconfigured and underground work in the pit from the Kirov side will begin. Winter conditions, Latypov noted, will in no way affect the pace, as insulation is being prepared.

On October 6 the site was inspected by the governor of Kirov Oblast, Alexander Sokolov, the head of Kirov administration Vyacheslav Simakov and the first deputy chairman of the regional government Alexey Zherdev. A representative of the contractor gave them a tour of the site and spoke about the current stages and technologies. Journalists and officials waited for the governor’s arrival for about half an hour, but were unable to hear the details of the conversation — the noise of machinery and passing trains interfered.

Later Alexander Sokolov wrote on his Telegram channel that 87 specialists are currently working at the site in two shifts and work is underway around the clock. He also noted that the project became possible with the support of Russian President Vladimir Putin and with the involvement of federal funds from the national project "Infrastructure for Life." According to the governor, the facility should be fully completed by December 2027, but the contractor is ahead of schedule, so it is planned to open the new facility to traffic in the summer of that year.

Recall that the transport crossing under the railway infrastructure on Sovetskaya Street in the Novovyatsk district of Kirov is a construction site 740 meters long. The client is the Municipal Budget Institution "Capital Construction Department of the city of Kirov." According to the project passport, construction is being carried out from October 11, 2024 to February 2, 2028.

Earlier we wrote about the difficulties the work caused for residents of Novovyatsk, which has been split into two parts.
