Meteorologists predict a harsh winter.

      The first noticeable cold spells are expected as early as November in the northern areas of central Russia, the Volga region, the Northwestern Federal District, and parts of Siberia.

      In December temperatures are forecast to be below last year’s values almost everywhere. Cold weather will persist into February, especially in the northern districts of Krasnoyarsk Krai and the western part of Yakutia.

      Normalization of the temperature regime is expected with the arrival of spring, when temperatures in most regions will approach the climatic norm, reports the portal karelinform.ru.
