The share of inquiries from Russians to purchase commercial properties in Italy grew by 81.3% — from 16.05% in the first half of 2024 to 21.1% in the first half of 2025, RBC reports. The average deal budget is about €3 million (approximately 290 million rubles). In Spain the share of inquiries was 20.29%, which is slightly lower than last year's figure (-0.4 percentage points).
Analysts note that Spain's commercial real estate market is recovering after a two-year correction thanks to the return of manufacturing to the country and the growth of e-commerce. Investments in the warehouse segment in 2025 could exceed €2 billion.
In third place in popularity among Russians is Germany, where the share of inquiries fell to 13.69% (compared with 20.37% in 2024). Overall, demand from Russians for foreign commercial real estate in January–June 2025 was the lowest in the past five years (-15% year on year).
