      According to State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin, upon the adoption of the law, services that provide subscriptions will be obliged to accept a user's refusal to use previously provided bank account details. That is, if a user has removed their bank card or e‑wallet details from their personal account or the app, automatic renewal of a paid subscription will be prohibited.

      Volodin noted that this law will help protect citizens from automatic debiting of their funds without their consent.
