Russians have paid for highway travel via Gosuslugi more than 5 million times.
In Russia, a barrier-free toll collection system operates on some highways. Instead of the usual booths with barriers, passages are recorded by cameras using the vehicle’s license plate number, and they can be paid for in several ways, including via the Gosuslugi portal.
According to the Ministry of Digital Development, Russians have already used this service more than 5 million times. You can pay for travel via Gosuslugi on highways such as the M-12 “Vostok”, A-113 “CKAD”, and A-289 “Novorossiysk — Kerch”.
To use the service, it is enough to request vehicle information in your personal account. If the car is registered to another person, the data can be entered manually. Charges for travel appear in the “Payments” section within 24 hours after the trip if the driver did not use a transponder or pay the road toll by other means.
