In August, banks in the Kirov region issued 375 preferential mortgage loans totaling 1.91 billion rubles. This is 17% higher in number and 23% higher in volume compared with July.
The average size of a preferential mortgage loan in the region was 5.08 million rubles, above July’s figure of 4.83 million rubles. The average loan term increased from 321 to 338 months.
Preferential mortgages accounted for 52% of the total number of mortgage loans issued in the Kirov region in August and 76% of their total volume. In terms of volume of preferential mortgage lending, the Kirov region ranked 43rd among all regions of Russia, reports the United Credit Bureau.
