Kirov residents are skeptical about flu vaccinations — only a third consider them necessary.

      In organizations in the region the most common measure for preventing the seasonal infection remains vaccination: 36% of employers provide it. In second place is wearing masks (10%), then preventive activities (7%), distribution of vitamins and dietary supplements (4%) and the use of hand sanitizers (2%). At the same time, 35% of companies do not take any steps to protect employees from the epidemic.

      Residents of Kirov are ambivalent about vaccination. Only 32% of Kirov residents are sure that vaccination against the flu is truly necessary. 43% of respondents are sure that the shot is not needed. Men support vaccination slightly more often (37%) than women (28%). Among young people under 35, supporters of an annual vaccination account for 34%. Interestingly, among respondents with incomes up to 50,000 rubles vaccination is approved more often (38%) than among those earning 100,000 rubles or more (24%).
