An expert named the number of pension points Russians will be able to accumulate with an average salary.

This was reported by Igor Balynin, an associate professor in the Department of Public Finance at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, RIA Novosti writes.

According to his calculations, with such incomes working Russians will accumulate between 4.567 and 4.784 individual pension coefficients (IPC). If such dynamics are maintained for 25 years, the pension amount could reach 25.5 thousand rubles, and with longer service — grow to 32 thousand rubles.

Earlier, Social Fund chairman Sergey Chirkov said that from 2026 the indexation of insurance pensions will take place in two stages: from February 1 — to the level of last year's inflation and price growth, and from April 1 — additionally, depending on the fund's revenues and wages in the country.
