Voter turnout in Kirov Oblast was 35 percent.

      As reported by the chairwoman of the regional election commission, Galina Burkova, over the weekend elections were held in many municipalities of Kirov Oblast. No violations occurred and no complaints were filed. The conduct of the vote in the premises of 138 precinct election commissions was monitored by 274 observers appointed by the Public Chamber, electoral associations and candidates.

      Among all the events there were 15 referendums. All were approved. Elections and by-elections of deputies also took place, resulting in all local Dumas being fully staffed.

      The highest turnout was in Malmyzhsky District — 71.2%. In second place was Vyatskopolyansky District (68.4%). The average turnout across the oblast was 35.98%.

      The 138 deputy mandates were distributed as follows: United Russia nominated 138 candidates, 95 won (68.8%); A Just Russia — 27 candidates, 9 won (6.5%); the Communist Party (CPRF) — 37 candidates, 9 won (6.5%); LDPR — 28 candidates, three won (2.2%). Independents received 22 mandates (16% of those nominated), among them two participants of the special military operation from Orichevsky and Kotelnichsky districts.
