
Oleg Valenchuk is 65 years old.
Oleg Valentinovich Valenchuk was born on September 14, 1960, in Kirov. In 1981 he graduated from the Kirov Pedagogical Institute named after V. I. Lenin; later he received a law degree and earned the degree of Candidate of Legal Sciences.
In the 1990s Valenchuk was involved in public activities and headed the charitable foundation "For the Children of the Vyatka Land." In 1999 he became the organizer and driving force behind the all‑Russian festival of author’s song "Grinlandia," which is held annually.
In 2007 Oleg Valenchuk was elected as a deputy of the State Duma for the first time, and in 2010 he headed the Union of Gardeners of Russia. Today he is a member of the State Duma Committee on Ecology, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.
Aside from his legislative work, the deputy continues to devote attention to the development of cultural and social projects in the Kirov region.
