Investigators have opened a criminal case into the injury of a worker in Omutninsk.
On September 4, an assistant logger, while on the premises of the Omutninskoye Forestry in the Kirov Region, sustained injuries that caused serious harm to his health. This occurred in the course of logging operations. Investigators of the Investigative Committee have opened a criminal case on signs of an offense under Part 1 of Article 143 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of occupational safety requirements) in connection with the worker’s injury. Investigators are currently collecting the evidentiary base and are establishing the circumstances of the incident and the person to be held criminally liable.
