Today at 11:00 Moscow time the dollar was trading at 87.56 rubles. By midday it had fallen to 85 rubles, rg.ru reports. At the moment the figure is still hovering around 85 rubles.
The official rate set by the Bank of Russia for September 10 was 83.24 rubles. Note that the highest value this year set by the Central Bank was recorded in January and reached 103.43 rubles; in over-the-counter trading it was up to 113.69 rubles.
