Kirov Oblast was ranked 50th among regions in terms of the labor market.

Moscow, Saint Petersburg and the Moscow Region again topped the ranking, while the republics of the North Caucasus finished at the bottom of the list.

Kirov Region placed 50th, scoring 68.2 points versus 62.66 a year earlier. Experts note that the improvement is linked to rising wages and a low unemployment rate, although the region still remains in the middle of the list.

The ranking is based on eight indicators: level of pay, employment, and the conditions and capacity of the labor market. The maximum score is 100 — the higher the result, the more stable the situation in the region.
