Almost a third of Kirov residents are willing to accept a 'gray' salary.

      Almost a third of Kirov residents (29%) are willing to accept work with a "grey" salary or without any official employment. 43% of respondents said they reject such offers. Men proved to be slightly more accepting of unofficial pay (31%) than women (26%).

      The highest willingness to accept a "grey" salary is among Kirov residents aged 35–45 (37%). Young people under 35 and city residents over 45 show less willingness (26% and 23% respectively). At the same time, half of respondents aged 45+ are fundamentally opposed to working "in an envelope."

      Income also influences Kirov residents' stance. Among those who earn more than 100,000 rubles, only 25% are willing to receive a "grey" salary, while 46% completely reject such schemes. Respondents with lower incomes are more lenient: 34% agree, 40% refuse.

      In addition, education level also plays a role: those with higher education are less likely to agree to unofficial payments (24%), whereas among people with secondary vocational education the share is 33%.
