Thunderstorms, heavy downpours and gale-force winds are heading for Kirov Oblast.
According to the Hydrometeorological Center, on September 2 and 3 heavy showers and thunderstorms will occur in places across the region, and fog will thicken in some areas. Forecasters also predict strengthening winds, with gusts reaching up to 24 m/s in some places.
Rescuers advise residents to be cautious: stay away from trees, power lines and poorly secured structures, and do not leave vehicles near them. During thunderstorms, specialists recommend unplugging electrical appliances and external antennas.
Earlier, meteorologists noted that such weather conditions could lead to downed power lines, falling trees and traffic disruptions.
