In Kirov, they have begun recording an audio play with an augmented reality effect.

Recording of the soundtrack for the audio play "Six from Vyatka" (12+), based on a play by Nina Todybaeva — a member of the Union of Writers of Russia and the head of the M. E. Saltykov-Shchedrin House-Museum — has begun at the Vyatsky College of Culture. The work is based on the canvas of the Kirov diorama "Establishment of Soviet Power in Vyatka," created in 1977 by artists of the M. B. Grekov studio, Arkady Interzarov and Nikolai Solomin.

The recording involves actors from Kirov theatres — Yuri Mazurenko, Ivan Shevelev, Elena Sheveleva, Valery Arsenyev, Vladimir Khlopov — as well as students and faculty of the college. The production is directed by Andrey Metelev, Honored Cultural Worker of the Kirov Region.

"Here the audience does not see the actor, but perceives everything only through the voice and sound design, filling in the images in their imagination. This is real microphone theatre," Andrey Metelev noted.

The project is being carried out with a grant from the President of the Russian Federation awarded by the Presidential Grants Fund.
