A pensioner from Darovsky District was paid an additional 65,000 rubles after the prosecutor's office intervened.

As reported by the press service of the Kirov Region prosecutor’s office, the territorial bodies of the Pension and Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation, due to a typographical error, did not include in the length of service the period when a district resident worked at a logging enterprise in 1979–1980. As a result, this period was not taken into account when his preferential insurance pension was awarded.

The prosecutor filed a lawsuit seeking recognition of the legal fact and inclusion of the disputed period in the length of service. The court granted the claim and ordered the pension to be recalculated from the time of the citizen’s first application.

After the recalculation, the man was credited with about 65,000 rubles.
