The Kirov region is preparing a five-year plan for the development of passenger transport.
The procedure for preparing and implementing the regional comprehensive plan for transport services to the population has been approved in the Kirov Region. The corresponding decree was signed by the Chairman of the regional government, Mikhail Sandalov.
The document defines the priorities, goals and tasks for organizing regular carriage of passengers and baggage by motor vehicle and ground electric transport, as well as in coordination with other modes of transport. The plan will set out a list of measures for the development of intermunicipal routes.
The draft of the document, as well as any amendments to it, is prepared by the Ministry of Transport of the Kirov Region. The plan is drawn up for a five-year period and must be updated no later than eight months before the expiry of the previous one. The approved section will be published on the regional government's website.
The plan will be implemented within the framework of the Kirov Region’s state programs, and its aim is to improve the accessibility and quality of transport services for the region’s residents.
