Two Kirov residents owe their children more than 250,000 rubles.
A 49-year-old resident of Kirov, from December 2023 to February 2024, without valid reasons did not pay child support for her sons, aged 11 and 16. As a result, she accrued a debt of approximately 130,000 rubles. It is worth noting that the woman was aware of the court decision obliging her to pay child support. In addition, the woman is able-bodied.
Under similar circumstances, a 26-year-old resident of Kirov in August–December last year also evaded fulfilling obligations to pay child support for his 8-year-old daughter. He accrued a debt of 129,000 rubles.
The results of the inspection have been sent to the preliminary investigation bodies for a criminal-legal assessment of the established facts. Based on the materials of the prosecutor’s inspection, criminal cases have been initiated under Part 1 of Article 157 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (non-payment of funds for the maintenance of minor children).
