The prosecutor's office has taken the Vogul people, cut off from the outside world, under its supervision.
Residents of the village of Vogultsy in the Falensky District appealed to the regional branch of the ONF and reported that the bridge destroyed by a Kamaz truck was located on the only road leading to the settlement. As a result, the villagers were left without any connection to the outside world: they cannot get to the FAP, shops, or pharmacies.
The local administration promises to repair the bridge only in 2026. Until then, people were advised to take a detour — through a neighboring village across the fields. However, that route is only possible until the first rains. In autumn the field route will be washed out, and it will be difficult for even a tractor to pass.
According to the Kirov Region prosecutor's office, the agency has taken control of the bridge restoration situation. "To take prompt measures for its repair and to determine alternative routes of communication, the Falensky District prosecutor's office has submitted a representation to the head of the municipal district. The outcome of the review of the prosecutorial response is being monitored. Delivery of medicines and essential food supplies for local residents has been organized," the regional prosecutor's office said.
