95 apartment buildings are being built in Kirov Oblast.

      On Builder's Day, Kirov officials summed up the results of the construction sector's work. According to them, nearly 29,000 people are currently employed in the sector, and the number of enterprises reaches 2,260. Over the past year, more than 600,000 square meters of housing were commissioned in the region; the same amount is planned for this year. In the first half of the year, 284,000 square meters have already been built. Ninety-five apartment buildings with a total area of 636,000 square meters are currently being erected. The government also reported that four new schools will open in Kirov by the start of the new school year. Construction of the others is ongoing. As for comprehensive territorial development, 40 such agreements have already been signed. For example, more than one million square meters of housing and dozens of social facilities are planned to be built in the south of Kirov on an area of over 110 hectares. The urban development potential of the Kirov region as of August 1 amounts to 2.52 million square meters. By 2026 this figure is planned to be increased to 3.1 million square meters.
