Residents of the Kirov region collected over 17 tons of waste paper.

On March 25th, the "BoomBattle" paper recycling campaign was launched in Russia. Residents of the Kirov Region also joined the event and have already collected 17,599 kg of paper raw materials. Recycling paper helps conserve natural resources. One ton of recycled paper prevents the felling of 17 to 25 trees. Additionally, such a mass of recycled paper saves up to 200 cubic meters of water and reduces carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere. Anyone can participate in the campaign, individually or with a team of friends. It is necessary to register on the campaign's website, collect paper, and deliver it to eco-centers at the addresses: EcoCenter, Vsesvyatskaya St., 64: Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Sunday and Monday are days off. EcoHouse, Vorovsky St., Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Sunday and Monday are days off. EcoPoint, Lenin St., 198/2: Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (lunch from 2:00 PM to 2:48 PM), Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (lunch from 1:00 PM to 1:48 PM), Sunday and Monday are days off. Residents of Kirov are encouraged to take photos and share them on social media with the hashtags #BoomBattle and #EcoSystem to inspire others to care for the environment. Participation in this campaign is not only an opportunity to contribute to the preservation of Russia’s natural wealth but also an important step in implementing the national project "Environmental Well-being."
