Kirov contractors are vacuuming the sidewalks ahead of the upcoming rains.
According to the Kirov CGMS, thunderstorms, heavy rains, and wind gusts up to 16 m/s are expected in the region soon. As a result, contracting organizations have been instructed to increase control and organize crews on duty for prompt clearing of storm drains and removal of weather-related consequences, the city administration reported. AO "Gorodormoststroy" stated that street cleaning work continues intensively: roads are being washed, vacuum cleaners are used for sidewalk cleaning, fallen leaves are being removed, and lawns are being mowed. Contractors remove about 70 cubic meters of waste and up to 40 tons of road debris daily. During the daytime shift, 80 pieces of equipment and 130 specialists are involved in the city streets. Work is carried out around the clock — without days off or holidays.
