A criminal case has been initiated against the young man who fatally hit a girl.

      Let us recall that yesterday, August 4th, we reported on a tragic traffic accident. On August 3rd, a 21-year-old resident of Nagorsk, intoxicated and driving a VAZ-2110, hit an 18-year-old girl standing on the shoulder of Sovetskaya Street. The young man then crashed into a power line pole and a parked car nearby. Unfortunately, the girl died at the scene from her injuries.

      An investigative case has been initiated against the young man under paragraphs "a" and "v" of part 4 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic rules resulting in the careless death of a person, committed by a person in a state of intoxication and not authorized to drive).

      Currently, the investigation is ongoing, and necessary examinations have been scheduled. Additionally, the question of bringing charges against the suspect and applying a measure of restraint is being considered.
