Agricultural equipment caught fire in the Nolin district field.
On the morning of August 3rd, during hay harvesting near the village of Sredne, Nolin district, a round baler caught fire. The machine belonged to a local agrofirm and was used for collecting mowed straw.
Due to strong wind, the fire quickly spread across the field. The operator acted promptly, detached the tractor, and called the fire services.
Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the regional fire and rescue service arrived at the scene. Ten people quickly extinguished the fire.
As a result, the baler itself, seven ready hay bales, and an additional 1.5 hectares of mowed mass were destroyed. The cause of the fire could have been a technical malfunction. The extent of the damage is being clarified.
