A Chepchanka's body was found in an apartment on Lenin Street
On the evening of August 2, the authorities reported the discovery of the body of a 47-year-old woman with signs of violent death in an apartment on Lenin Street in Kirovo-Chepetsk. A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder). Investigators from the regional department and officers of the inter-municipal police department identified the man involved in the crime. He was a 52-year-old acquaintance of the victim.
On August 2, the friends were in an apartment on Lenin Street, drinking alcohol. During the gathering, a conflict arose between the man and the woman, and the Chepetsk man, out of personal animosity, stabbed his acquaintance several times in the chest and left forearm. The woman died at the scene from her injuries.
The man was detained under Article 91 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. He was charged with the crime. The investigation is requesting the court to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention. The circumstances of the incident are currently being established, and evidence is being collected and secured.
