      In 2025, non-working pensioners will be able to count on a pension of at least 15,000 rubles, thanks to a federal social supplement. This was announced by State Duma deputy Alexey Goviririn in an interview with RIA Novosti. According to the legislator's statement, the social pension for people who, for various reasons, have not worked amounts to 8,824 rubles. However, this amount can be supplemented either by a regional or federal additional payment, depending on the living minimum for pensioners in a specific region. If the regional minimum is lower than the federal, a federal supplement will be added to the pension. In 2025, it will amount to 15,250 rubles, corresponding to the federal living minimum for pensioners. If the regional minimum is higher, a regional supplement applies. Goviririn emphasized that this support concerns all pensioners whose pensions do not reach the living minimum. To receive the supplement, Muscovites and residents of the Moscow region can use regional services such as the Social Fund or the "My Documents" MFC. In other regions, the supplement can be arranged through the "Gosuslugi" portal.
