Oleg Valenchuk got behind the wheel of a grader and made the road to the dacha community.

      Special attention was paid to the road leading to the bush of ten cooperatives located near the Pobedilovsky tract, namely: "Rublevo", "Autotransportnik", "Lesnaya Polyana", "Zolotaya Osen", "Vyatka", "Torfianik", "Ryabinushka", "Poynok", "Mebelshchik", and "Iuinytsy". Thousands of people use this dirt road daily. The unexpected visit of Oleg Valenchuk confirmed the seriousness of the approach to solving the problem that concerns the dacha residents.

      The gardeners themselves reported that their shared interests and friendly atmosphere help them overcome many difficulties. According to Elena Rusinova, chairman of the "Zolotaya Osen" horticultural cooperative, they buy gravel every year, improve the rest area by the pond, and hold a harvest festival, which helps strengthen friendship and effectively address common issues together.

      In winter, the dacha residents clean the road of snow on their own. Understanding the actual cost of such work, a small tractor was purchased to avoid renting equipment. Annual grading organized by the Union of Gardeners in the summer has become a significant support. This has greatly reduced expenses and solved the seasonal problem of potholes and ruts.

      Oleg Valenchuk had to recall his tractor management skills, for which he received his license while still a student at Kirov Pedagogical Institute, to evaluate the grader's work. According to him, practical experience was mandatory during his studies, and tractor management skills are like riding a bicycle: once learned — for a lifetime.

      Oleg Valenchuk acknowledged that operating a grader on a dirt road is challenging, but the machinery handles the tasks set before it. All the grader’s mechanisms are functioning properly. "This means that the ambitious plan of the Union of Gardeners — to repair more than 500 km of dirt roads leading to the cooperatives — will be fulfilled," reported the Union's press service.
