Kirov residents paid over 320 million rubles in personal income tax following the declaration campaign.
The OFNS of Russia for the Kirov region summarized the results of the 2025 declaration campaign. Kirov residents who declared income for 2024 paid over 322 million rubles in personal income tax to the budget. As the tax authorities remind, the deadline for submitting the 3-NDFL declaration was April 30, and the tax had to be paid by July 15.
As of July 25, residents of the region submitted 152,600 declarations. A year earlier, during the same period, 160,800 were submitted. The decrease is due to the growing popularity of the simplified procedure for obtaining tax deductions—without the need to file a declaration and supporting documents. Throughout 2024, nearly 8,000 such applications were received, and in the first half of 2025, over 8,900.
At the same time, through the regular procedure of filing a 3-NDFL, more than 102,000 residents of the Kirov region claimed a tax deduction for expenses incurred in 2024.
Those who missed the deadline for tax payment are reminded that this can be done via the FTS online services—the "Taxpayer's Personal Account" and "Pay Taxes and Duties"—as well as through banks, the Russian Post offices, and the "Gosuslugi" portal.
Additionally, it is possible to claim a tax deduction for expenses incurred over the previous three years until the end of 2025, according to the OFNS.
