In the Orichevsky District of the Kirov Region, the court satisfied the prosecutor's claim for the return to federal ownership of 10 land plots located within the shoreline of the Vyatka River. Their total area exceeds 3,600 square meters.
As reported by the regional prosecutor's office, an inspection revealed that the lands on the territory of Istobensky rural settlement were unlawfully in private ownership. Before establishing rights to the plots, land users did not demarcate or exclude the boundaries of the water protection zone and the coastal protective strip from the total area, as required by law.
The prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit. The claims were fully satisfied. The court's decision has already been implemented — the plots have been removed from cadastral registration.
The agency also clarified that in the first half of 2025, the Kirov Region prosecutor's office filed 162 claims in court in the interests of the state, the region, and municipalities.
