A weed-parasite has proliferated in the Soviet district.
As a result of land surveys, the Rosselkhoznadzor Department for the Kirov Region identified an outgrowth of the parasitic weed—dodder—on a land plot of the State Natural Reserve of regional significance "Pizhsky."
According to the agency, in accordance with current legislation, the Department issued a decree on the introduction of quarantine phytosanitary regimes and the establishment of a quarantine phytosanitary zone within the Sovetsky district of the Kirov region on an area of six hectares.
The introduced quarantine phytosanitary regime is aimed at timely localization of the outbreak and preventing the spread of the quarantine object.
