One in five residents of Kirov approves of resort romances.
The SuperJob job search service conducted a poll among Kirov residents to find out their attitudes towards joint and separate vacations, as well as resort romances.
It was found that 40% of respondents believe that a husband and wife should only vacation together. Another 45% allow for occasional separate trips but generally prefer joint vacations. 12% advocate mainly separate vacations, not excluding the possibility of traveling together. And only 3% are convinced that spouses should only vacation apart—especially if the couple is constantly together at home and at work.
Interestingly, attitudes towards separate vacations are closely linked to opinions on resort romances. Every fifth Kirov resident (20%) has a positive view of such affairs, while 52% are strongly against them.
Among men, approval of vacation romances is more common than among women. Additionally, single respondents tend to view them more positively than those who are married. Supporters of strictly separate vacations are particularly tolerant of resort romances—50% of them do not consider such relationships objectionable. Among those who only vacation with their partner, this figure is only 12%.
