      In March, an 11-year-old schoolgirl in Orel was hit by a mass of snow and ice falling from the roof of an abandoned building. The incident occurred on Orlovskaya Street. The girl sustained a head bruise and did not require hospitalization. The Orlovsky District Prosecutor's Office conducted an investigation and found violations that became the basis for legal proceedings. On behalf of the child, the prosecutor filed a claim demanding compensation for the damages caused. The building owner paid 30,000 rubles even before the court decision came into force, the prosecutor's office reported.
