The GZhI commented on the incident with the falling brick on Vorovskogo.
Recall that a Kirov resident contacted the regional branch of the ONF, reporting that bricks are falling from the facade of house No. 60 on Vorovskogo Street. The woman was having a conversation with an acquaintance when a brick fell from the facade just centimeters away from her. Debris from plaster rained down on her head. She escaped with a mild fright, but it could have ended in tragedy — her six-year-old daughter was nearby. The residents of the building say they are afraid to approach the entrances — the "stone fall" from the facade continues. Many balconies are also in a state of emergency. However, the major repairs promised for the 650th anniversary of Kirov have been postponed to 2043–2045.
The regional GZhI noted that no reports regarding this incident had been received. "On July 22, the inspection jointly with the Lenin District Prosecutor's Office examined the shared property of the apartment building located at: Kirov Region, Kirov city, Vorovskogo Street, No. 60. During the inspection, damage to the plaster coating and brickwork of the exterior walls was identified. According to the Director of the Management Company, the incident reported by residents occurred last week. The next day, a scaffold was brought in, the detached plaster area was patched, and an inspection is scheduled for July 23 to decide on installing nets," the GZhI commented on the incident.
