      From January 1 to July 22, 2025, 47.3 thousand cubic meters of glued birch plywood were shipped from the region to China, which is 30% more compared to the same period in 2024 (36.2 thousand cubic meters).

      As reported by the Rosselkhoznadzor Department for the Kirov Region, Udmurt Republic, and Perm Krai, only on July 21, the shipment of another large batch was inspected — 2.67 thousand cubic meters of products. During the inspection, specialists took samples of the plywood and sent them to the Kirov branch of the FGBI «VNIIKR» for laboratory analysis.

      The inspection results showed no quarantine harmful organisms in the product. A total of 78 phytosanitary certificates, necessary for export, were issued during the inspections.

      The export of glued birch plywood remains one of the region’s significant foreign trade sectors.
