Over 120 kilometers of "velvet" track have been laid on the Gorky Railway.

      The GZD press service reported that 33 switch points were also replaced. Work is underway on key sections in the Nizhny Novgorod and Vladimir regions. Simultaneously, repairs are being carried out in the Kirov, Sverdlovsk regions, Tatarstan, and Udmurtia. In the Kirov region, work continues on the Orichi – Strizhi, Strizhi – Lyangasovo, Lyangasovo – Pozdino, and Falenki – Yar sections. During the campaign, specialists are replacing rail fastening systems, updating switch points, laying non-ballasted track, thoroughly cleaning ballast, and welding joints. By the end of the year, over 207 km of track are planned to be fully renovated on the Gorky Mainline, and more than 100 switch points are scheduled for replacement.
