Andrey Semyonov, a resident of Verkhoshizhensky district, died during the NWO.
In the special military operation zone, resident of Verkhoshizhimskiy district of Kirov region Andrey Mikhailovich Semenov was killed. According to the district administration, the tragedy occurred on March 24, 2025, on the Kursk direction.
Andrey Semenov was born on November 29, 1983. He studied and worked in the village of Kalachiga. In spring 2024, he voluntarily went to fulfill his military duty. He was wounded but returned to service after recovery. For bravery and courage, he was awarded combat medals.
"Andrey was a kind, cheerful, responsive companion, a loving son, husband, and father," noted the Verkhoshizhimskiy district administration.
The farewell ceremony for the fallen soldier will take place on July 22. At 10:00, a civil memorial service will be held at the monument to those who died in the Great Patriotic War in the village of Sredneivkino. At 11:00, a church service will be held at the local church. Andrey Semenov will be buried at the Sredneivkino village cemetery.
The district administration expressed condolences to the relatives and loved ones of the deceased.
