Recently, the Shabalinsk District Police Department reported a missing pensioner. A concerned resident of Vysokogorye village stated that her husband had left home days earlier in an unknown direction. She tried to find the man herself, but these efforts were unsuccessful.
The search for the local resident was joined by police officers from the Shabalinsky district, the "LizaAlert" team, local residents, and staff from the robotics and unmanned aerial vehicles department of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs. Initially, the searchers explored the area in the direction indicated by the man's relatives as the likely route of his departure, but with the help of a UAV, the missing person's location was established in the opposite direction. He was found one kilometer from his house, lying in the grass.
The search participants reached the resident and brought him out of the forest. Medical personnel provided necessary assistance. The pensioner is now at home.
