One of the deceased — native of Kirov region, Sergey Ivanov. Sergey was born in our region, studied here, worked in the Kirov region until 2022, and then joined the Specialized Unit of the Main Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia in Sevastopol as deputy head of the pyrotechnic and special diving works section. Sergey Ivanov served in EMERCOM for over 13 years.
The second deceased — Reshat Mediev — was born in Sevastopol. He was conscripted into military service in 2017 and two years later joined the Specialized Unit of the Main Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia in Sevastopol.
According to the publication, Ivanov and Mediev performed their last task together. Sergey Ivanov was laid to rest in his homeland — in Kirov region, and Reshat Mediev — in Sevastopol.
