Kirov Region ranked 35th in Russia's employment prospects ranking.

      The rating is based on six key indicators, including the unemployment rate, the resume-to-job vacancy ratio (index), the median offered salary, the share of job seekers looking for work outside the region, and the minimum subsistence level for the working population.

      Kirov Oblast showed stable but moderate results: the unemployment rate in the region was 1.7% according to Rosstat, and the index was 4.5, indicating a balanced labor market. The median offered salary reached 60,100 rubles, with a subsistence minimum of 15,800 rubles. Additionally, 5.1% of local job seekers are looking for work outside the region.

      Despite stable indicators, Kirov Oblast ranked in the lower part among the subjects of the Volga Federal District.

      The leading regions were the Republic of Tatarstan (1st place), the Republic of Bashkortostan (2nd), and Saint Petersburg (3rd). Analysts emphasize that the leading regions demonstrate not only high employment levels and income but also maintain a strong interest among residents in working within their home region.
