Simakov: Bus route №84 will not change
Earlier, there was information from the ONF press service that starting in 2026, bus route №84 would be shortened — without a passage through the Southwest district, which would complicate the commute for residents of Bogorodskaya, Bolshaya Subbotikha, and Malaya Subbotikha to clinics and workplaces. People have already collected over 700 signatures to preserve the route and suggest extending it to Urvantsovo.
More than 900 people participated in the People's Front survey about the future of bus route №84. Almost all — 807 people — opposed shortening the route and demanded it remain unchanged. The results have been sent to the Kirov administration.
At the same time, the situation was commented on by the head of the Kirov mayor’s office, Vyacheslav Simakov. According to him, the information about the change to bus route №84 is inaccurate. He clarified that the formation of the route network is nearing completion, and no major changes are planned. "Moreover, route 84 will be used to transport children to the new school being built there, so no changes in this direction are planned," says the head of the administration.
