Oleg Valenchuk: Together, let's make our native Vyatka land beautiful and flourishing!
In the modern world, where virtual often eclipses reality, the importance of labor and patriotic education for the younger generation becomes especially significant. The Lyceum of the city of Malmyzh has been successfully implementing these vital tasks for several years, transforming the school grounds into a vivid embodiment of love for the native land and pride in one's work.
The school plot is more than just a garden. The central feature and true pride of the lyceum is the mesmerizing rockery. An artfully crafted composition of stones of various shapes and sizes is complemented by handcrafted art objects and a variety of plants. It gives the school grounds a unique comfort and individuality.
The rockery is not a static display but a living organism, constantly transforming thanks to the efforts of the students. Each year, the students contribute by adding new perennial plants to the composition. This year, the students have ambitious plans for greater achievements.
"Our lyceum was already a national winner in the competition a few years ago," said the school's director, Svetlana Plishkina. "This year, we plan to compete again for the top prizes. For the kids, it's not just a contest but an opportunity to showcase their skills, creative potential, and love for their homeland."
As State Duma deputy Oleg Valenchuk noted, the competition helps children not only to touch beauty but also to experience the pleasure of creating something useful and beautiful, understanding how important it is to preserve and enhance beauty.
"The contest has been held for many years, originally involving schools, kindergartens, libraries, museums, cultural centers, and additional education centers," Oleg Valenchuk said. "This year, due to numerous requests, we added another category – for owners of garden plots and individual houses. Let's all work together to improve our environment and make our native Vyatka land beautiful and blooming!"
Applications for the "Let's Decorate the Motherland with Flowers" contest can be submitted through the "Union of Gardeners – Kirov" group on VKontakte.
