In Kirov, the safety at seven schools was improved after a prosecutor's lawsuit.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Pervomaysky District of Kirov conducted an inspection of compliance with traffic safety legislation. It was found that the road sections near seven schools on Morozovskaya, Miliitseyskaya, Moskovskaya, Svobody, Tsentralnaya (in the village of Malaya Subbotikha), and Basseynaya (in the village of Poroshino) did not meet the standards. This posed a threat to the lives and health of minor pedestrians and their parents.

As a result of the inspection, the prosecutor filed a lawsuit demanding that the city administration eliminate the violations. The court upheld the claim, recognizing it as lawful and justified.

Currently, the requirements have been met: the schools now have special road markings, and guardrail fences have been installed.
