An investigator from the Investigative Committee inspected the scene, and all circumstances of the incident are currently being established. A procedural decision will be made based on the results of the investigation.
The regional Investigative Committee reminds parents:
- Ensure that windows in the apartment are equipped with special restrictors and child locks
- Use only the vertical opening mode when ventilating the room
- Do not leave the baby alone in a room with an open window
- Check that in the room where the baby spends time, there is no furniture near the window that he could climb onto to reach the windowsill
