      The study showed an ambivalent attitude of Kirov residents towards the Unified State Exam. Among parents of graduates planning to enter universities, 45% are satisfied with their children's exam results, while 30% are dissatisfied.

      The overall assessment of the EGE system demonstrates a predominance of negative opinions: 71% of parents view the exam negatively, while 24% support it. Interestingly, among those satisfied with their children's results, support for the system is higher (26% versus 21% among the dissatisfied).

      Arguments of EGE supporters:

      - Relative fairness of the system, assuming equal difficulty of tasks;

      - Equal opportunities for university admission through proper organization.

      Criticism of the exam is especially strong among parents dissatisfied with the results: 73% of them advocate for abolishing the EGE, compared to 64% among those satisfied. The main argument of opponents is that the exam does not assess real knowledge but merely creates stressful situations.

      Public opinion is generally divided: 25% of economically active citizens support the EGE, while 51% oppose it.

      Demographic features:

      Women show greater support for the system;

      The highest proportion of supporters (29%) is among young people under 35;

      Young respondents are more likely than others to support the EGE, as they have personal experience taking the exam and understand its advantages.
